Last month we got to shoot a wedding video at the Alderbrook Lodge in Union, WA. Dave and Megan had known eachother since highschool – and while their relationship was full of up’s and down’s, their love kept them together. And we got to celebrate their beautiful wedding day with them!

 

We arrived early to get some aerial shots of the venue and surrounding area. Since the ceremony area was right next to the water, we couldn’t ask for a much better location! The day was beautiful with sun and a few clouds here and there.

 

 

The bride and groom has stayed overnight and had rented out cabins in the small community area next to the main lodge. It was so fun getting to meet their friends and family – they all seem so close! The ceremony was short and sweet, and full of emotion. The officiant was a friend of the bride’s mother which made it that much more personal. She was familiar with the entire journey of the bride and groom. It seems that these two were destined to be together from the beginning. Afterwards, we got to do a nice video session of the two of them out on the dock overlooking the water. This was definitely my favorite part of the day!

 

 

Though the day was hectic at times, it was full of love and will always be cherished. We were so glad to have had the opportunity to capture the special moments and edit them into a wedding video for these two. Check out the video highlights below!
